Acceptable use policy

Purpose

This policy describes proposed rules for Igniter accounts, agents, automations and integrations. It will supplement the service terms once completed and disclosed to the client. Reporting contact: hello@igniter.ai.

Permitted uses

Administrative assistance, contact organization, commercial inquiries, scheduling and authorized follow-up, within the contracted scope and granted permissions. Every automation must have an identified purpose and an accountable human.

Messaging and consent

Spam, unlawfully obtained lists and continued promotional communication after an opt-out are prohibited. Clients must establish the necessary permissions and respect contact preferences. Channel rules, including WhatsApp and Instagram when connected, also apply.

Impersonation and unlawful content

Fraud, impersonation, threats, harassment, exploitation, unlawful content and copyright or privacy violations are prohibited. An agent must not falsely present itself as a person, doctor or other accredited professional. Commercial information and promises must be truthful.

Account and data security

Accessing other organizations’ information, bypassing access controls, sharing secrets in conversations, distributing malicious software or attempting to compromise services is prohibited. Permissions must be limited to authorized tasks and revoked when no longer needed.

Sensitive information and decisions

Commercial flows and demos must use minimal information; demonstrations use fictional data. Processing sensitive information requires prior agreement on scope and safeguards. Administrative agents must not diagnose, prescribe treatments, handle emergencies or execute high-impact decisions without appropriate involvement.

Automated actions

Instructions must define what each agent may read, modify or send. Actions involving commitments, payments, publication or material changes require appropriate authorization and controls. Automations must not evade provider limits or policies.

Reports and measures

Reports should describe the incident and affected channel without unnecessary sensitive information. Responses to abuse may include review, proportionate restrictions or suspension, considering urgency, agreements and applicable rights. Notification and review procedures will be completed in the final version.
